What neoo keeps
- Your email address, to invite you and log you in.
- Each note: the recording, what was transcribed, its headline, and the people, places and facts neoo took from it. Also when you made it and how long each step took.
- What you tell neoo afterwards: answers to its questions, corrected names, merges.
- Feedback you send: your words or recording, the screen you were on, what you tagged, and your device type and app version.
- How you use neoo, linked to your account and email address, unless you turn it off: which screens you open, when a note is saved or corrected, and how many results a search found. Never what a note says, the names in it, or what you searched for.
Your notes are about other people. They are kept exactly like the rest: private to your account, and seen by no other tester.
Where it goes
- Supabase stores everything, in the EU (Ireland).
- Vercel runs the app, so your requests pass through it.
- Deepgram receives each recording to turn it into text. Its servers are in the US. It receives the audio and nothing else.
- Anthropic receives the text of each note to find the people and facts in it. Its servers are in the US.
- Loops sends neoo’s emails: your login codes, and a few emails about the beta. It receives your email address, your first name if you gave it, and when you were invited and first signed in. Its servers are in the US.
- PostHog receives how you use neoo, together with your email address, in the EU (Frankfurt). In your first two weeks it also records the screen as you use it, with every word and image blanked out, so Marius can see where the app gets in your way.
Deepgram and Anthropic may not use it to train their models. neoo tells Deepgram, with every recording, not to keep it once it is transcribed. Anthropic does not train on it and deletes it within 30 days. Nothing is sold, and nothing is used for advertising.
If you joined the waitlist on the website and allowed analytics there, your visits to the website are linked to your account when you are invited.
To turn usage tracking off, write to marius@neoo.online. It stops on every device as soon as it is done, and you get a reply.
Who can read it
You. Marius runs neoo, reads the feedback you send and the notes you point to in it, and has technical access to everything else. He does not read your notes unless you ask him to look at something.
How to delete it
One note: open it and tap Delete note. The recording, the text and every fact that came only from that note are gone. If the recording can't be removed at that moment, neoo keeps track of it and removes it the next time the app opens.
Everything: write to marius@neoo.online. Your account, notes, recordings, feedback and usage data are deleted, and you get a reply when it is done.
Until then, neoo keeps what you give it for as long as the beta runs.
